New data revealed that the amount of student loan hit a record high in 2010 and each student has $25,250 debt averagely. Although people might expect students who enroll in expensive schools to have more debt, but that is not always the case. Graduates from some public schools like Alabama A&M have an average debt of $31,000 because of the decrease of state support. Experts predict that these numbers will not decrease any time soon. I believe everyone is entitled to get equal education and the responsibility for this crisis rests squarely on the government. If we do not fix this problem, economic inequality between social classes will be intensified and demonstrations like Occupy Wall Street will be unceasing.

Intriguing. It is said that it is up to each person's efferots whether someone can get a good job or not, however, I think that actually it deeply relating to which school he/she were graduated...at least in Japan.
ReplyDeleteI agree with your opinion. On the other hand, I can consider if I were the owner of a private college. If I devote only the benefit of giving education for students, the college will bankrupt. In Japan, there are many colleges and universities which consider only money even though Japan face the decreasing of young people. Some famous and high-level colleges do not have to consider about their funds not so seriously. However, most of private colleges face the critical situation of their funds. So, if I were a student in such colleges, I hope they devote themselves only giving educations for us. I do not know about the situation in the U.S. well, but I think they face the similar problem.
